Strengthening Pedagogy with ICT (ICTAC W.S.I)
This project emphasises teaching and learning which targets both Staff and Pupils in the Art Department at St Francis Xavier’s College, Liverpool.
The Art Department is an expanding curriculum area at S.F.X with the ability and the willingness to embrace new technologies to raise standards throughout all Key Stage Levels.
The Art Department comprises of 2 Full time members and 1 Part Time member.
The Staff have agreed to training to operate within the Core Innovators mandate and look forward to the experience.
A cohort of 12 pupils (Art AS level) will engage in a ‘Fast Track’ opportunity to develop and extend pupils inherent skills.
Training will occupy two different strands:
Staff Training: Including the use of software, Cameras, Scanners and other input devices.
Evidence: Delivery of Art Lesson in Specialist ICT Room. Video of Lesson. Video Interview.
Student Training: Coursework and Examination work at AS Level.
Evidence: Student Video interviews. Digital Slideshow. Exhibition.
